SnoutCover Assembly Guide

This document outlines the parts, dimensions, and step-by-step instructions for assembling your DIY Snoutcover.

1. Parts & Dimensions

Before starting, ensure you have all components prepared and straps cut to the correct lengths.

Straps (adjust for your dog):

• 1x Collar Strap: 80 cm length (20mm).

• 2x Nose Straps: 30 cm length each.

Hardware:

• 1x SnoutCover: The main 3D printed SnoutCover.

• 1x Buckle set.

• 2x Triple Fasteners: (3-slot glides / Black in video).

• 4x Regular Fasteners: (2-slot glides / Pink in video).

2. Assembly Instructions

Phase 1: Assembling the Nose Straps

1. Prepare the Strap: Take one 30cm Nose Strap.

2. Add Upper Fastener: Slide a Triple Fastener onto the strap. Slide it down towards the end; this will later connect to the collar.

3. Add Lower Fastener: Slide a Regular Fastener onto the strap, positioning it near the middle.

4. Attach to SnoutCover:

   • Thread the end of the strap through one of the side slots on the SnoutCover.

   • Fold the strap back on itself.

   • Thread the end back through the Regular Fastener to lock the loop securely.

5. Repeat: Repeat steps 1–4 for the second Nose Strap on the other side of the SnoutCover.

Result: You now have the SnoutCover with two vertical straps attached. Each strap has a Triple Fastener on it's end.

Phase 2: Connecting the Collar

1. Position the Assembly: Lay the assembly flat on a table with the nose straps extended upwards.

2. Thread the Collar: Take the 80cm Collar Strap.

3. Create the Junction:

   • Take the Triple Fastener end of a Nose Strap.

   • Thread the collar strap through the Triple Fastener.

4. Repeat: Do the same for the other Nose Strap.

   
   

Phase 3: Final Collar Assembly

Install Buckle Parts:

• Slide the remaining 2 Regular Fasteners onto the ends of the Collar Strap (one on each side).

• Thread one end of the collar strap through the Male Buckle. Loop it back and secure it through the Regular Fastener.

• Thread the other end of the collar strap through the Female Buckle. Loop it back and secure it through the Regular Fastener.

3. Fitting Guide

Once assembled, the SnoutCover requires proper adjustment to ensure safety and comfort.
